Havering's commercial centre, supported by a team four miles away in Dagenham, with prices published before you call.
Romford is the largest commercial centre in this part of Essex and the mix is unusually broad. There is the retail core around The Liberty, The Brewery and the market that has run since 1247; a substantial professional-services layer of accountants, solicitors, insurance brokers and recruiters; healthcare around Queen's Hospital and the surrounding practices; and trade, motor and light-industrial businesses along Rom Valley Way and out towards Harold Wood.
What those have in common is that they are almost all owner-managed and almost none of them have an IT department. The person handling IT is usually a director who has picked it up, or an office manager who is good with computers. That works until it does not. Typically that is the point of a ransomware incident, a failed backup, or a member of staff leaving with access nobody revoked.
Since the Elizabeth line reached Romford, more London-facing businesses have based themselves here, which has raised expectations. Clients increasingly ask Romford suppliers the same security questions they would ask a City firm.

If IT is currently handled by whoever is least busy, the first job is finding out what you actually have.
Havering businesses bidding for public-sector and larger private contracts are increasingly asked for certification.
No contract? You can still call us. The hourly rate is meaningfully higher though, and we would rather be honest about that.
We are based in Dagenham, roughly four miles south-west of Romford town centre, with the A12, A118 and A125 between us. On-site work across RM1 to RM7, including Gidea Park, Collier Row, Harold Wood and Rush Green, is part of our normal coverage rather than a special arrangement.
One thing worth saying plainly to Romford businesses: we publish our prices, and almost no local competitor does. If you are comparing quotes, we have written up what IT support actually costs in this part of London, including the per-user, per-device and break-fix models, in our 2026 pricing guide.

Yes. Some clients keep an internal person for day-to-day support and use us for monitoring, security, backup and escalation. We will document everything either way, so nobody is dependent on one person's memory.
Visits covered by your managed agreement are included. Work outside the agreed scope is £86 per hour for contract clients, against £126 per hour without an agreement.
Usually, yes. Most audits and questionnaires map closely onto the Cyber Essentials controls, so certification is the efficient route. That is £99 per month managed, including the gap assessment and remediation.
