Cookie Policy
What cookies we use and how to control them.

This policy explains how Alpha IT Solutions uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences, and help site owners understand how their site is used.
2. The cookies we use

If you decline, nothing from Meta is loaded at all. We do not use the “cookieless” tracking mode some sites fall back on. Declining costs you nothing and hides nothing from you.
3. Third-party services
The site relies on very few third parties, and only these can set a cookie or see your IP address:
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (the Facebook pixel). Loaded only after you accept. If you decline or ignore the banner, it is never requested.
- Google Fonts. The site’s typefaces are served from Google’s font CDN. This sets no cookie, but the request does reveal your IP address to Google.
We do not currently run Google Analytics or Google Ads on this site. If that changes, they will be listed here and added to the banner before a single request is made to them.
Contact, quote and download forms are handled by our own server at alphaitsolutions.uk. They are not passed through a third-party form service. The chat assistant sends the text of your message to Anthropic’s API to generate a reply; it sets no cookie and we do not send your name, email or IP address with it.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
4. How to control cookies
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and it is no harder than giving it in the first place:
That clears your stored preference and shows the banner again on the next page load. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working properly.
