Important and frequently misunderstood: Alpha IT sells **readiness and remediation** for Cyber
Essentials, not certification. Cyber Essentials is a self-assessment questionnaire marked by an
assessor at a certification body licensed by IASME. Alpha IT is not a certification body and does
not itself hold Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus. No scan or audit certifies anybody.

Care covers UK hosting, SSL, daily backups kept 30 days, uptime monitoring and security updates.
**Hosting is £15/month of every care plan.** On Complete Digital that £15 is free for the first
year, which is why year one is £84 rather than £99. The rest of the plan is not free at any point.

A standard business website takes about two to four weeks from first conversation to launch.
All web prices are plus VAT.

- Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus certification itself, as above
- Copywriting, professional photography and ongoing SEO work on the web packages
- Hardware purchases, which are quoted separately at cost plus handling

## Common pricing questions

**Is there a minimum contract?** No. Month to month, thirty days' notice, and no minimum spend.
The former £650 monthly minimum was removed.

**Is hosting billed separately from web care?** No. Hosting is a £15/month component inside the
care fee, not an extra invoice.

**What does the one-hour response target cover?** It is a target response time on the Complete
managed tier at £108 per user per month. Lower tiers get priority response without a published
target.

**Do you charge for the initial assessment?** No. Both the IT health check and the outside-in
perimeter check are free, and there is no obligation attached to either.
